Job Description: Includes but is not limited to:
· Responsible to ensure that the site is supplied with all documentation, methods and materials needed to carry out the works.
· Prepare works drawings and site related design drawings and as built drawings for all projects.
· Follow up on the permanent work design and coordinate this with the site team, and undertake regular site visits to assess ongoing and completed works with a view to identifying snags and defects which must be recorded once identified with an action plan to address these ASAP.
· Demonstrate great ability to work effectively and efficiently in the constantly changing Oryx environment. You should know how to deal with failures and look critically at your own work.
· Plan, organize and prioritize your work, and seek confirmation of priorities when confronted with unusual situations, and you report on the state of affairs to your line manager.
· Demonstrate ownership and responsibility and report potential and actual Black Box Incidents immediately to your manager.
· Participate in Black Box reviews and contribute actively to observations raised and suggested mitigations and contingencies as a way forward.
· Analyse information supplied by the project manager and sales team, summarise the data in a logical way and check whether your own observations or interpretations are correct.
· When dealing with similar or regularly reoccurring situations, you should start to apply risk management analysis on all jobs and advise the project manager accordingly.
· Work collaboratively with the project manager and team supervisor to assess and develop job safety analysis.
